Samuel has done a really good job with the model. The model itself is not conducive to showing off his talent, that is, the robes are not one of the more challenging things to sculpt. Of course, he did an amazing job. With new sculptors, it's always nice to see a piece of their work that really shows off their skill.

That is a very good version of Mortarion. I like how bird wings have been used instead of bat wings, makes him look more like a fallen angel. I remember I tried making a Mortarion many years ago.

It didn't look like that. I gave mine bat wings and used tissue paper soaked with PVA to make the robes. Those robes are the best part of the model, robes are very hard to sculpt.

Is Samuel going to paint it? Please tell us when it is finished.

Wow Leprechaun guys, your works are truely inspiring and make me wish I had some skills. A tutorial on the robes or wings would be awesome, but those look too complicated to describe (plus does a studio give out free stuff anyways?)

The update looks great. The black and white pics show off the robe and wings much better than the colore because of how gs gets lumped together in pics. It looks very close to the pic. Awesome model.
