welll i only have one problem with it and that's the starknessss of the hilights on the black.
you know I was gonna say the same thing about the highlights but I kinda like em with this color scheme they look really cool. I dont know if you intended it , but I do really like them.

I like the starkness of the highlights, the suits the scheme. It looks really nice, just needs a nice finish to the base.
Well if the starkness of the highlights on the black robe is only thing that you guys saw wrong then I guess I did alright lol. Now about the black highlights:Yes, it was very much intentional. In the pic it really come out more stark then it really is. It looks more white in the photo, when it is really more grey to soften the contrast just a bit. I did however really like the look of it after I did it and decided to keep it like that instead adding a more progressional/typical highlighting scheme.I dont know if you intended it , but I do really like them.
Very nice, I like it. I like your "cleanness" of your white. Nice starter work on the freehanding(like the gold band and such) so great! My only critisizm is the staff, its all one tone, and I think it deserves some more attention. Compared to the rest of the model it just looks too simple and can be livened up. Perhaps making the handle part wood, or another metal, or straight black even. Just my thought.

WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
Very nice indeed! I, like everybody else, like the highlight alot, and the general scheme is veryu fitting as well. Give that sucker a great base and you'll have a top-quality model!

I know what you mean about the staff and its the only area that I have an issue with as well. I will post a new pic once I paint the gems at the bottom, and top of the staff and see if that makes it look more in place with the model. If not I thought about paintint it brown and drybrushing on some bleached bone and white to give it a wraithbone look, but we will see.My only critisizm is the staff, its all one tone, and I think it deserves some more attention
Thanks for the comments so far!
Welll if you intentioned for a stark contrast then props to you cause it looks great.
I am very impressed by that stark highligting on the black, it ties in well with the rest of the very clean painting.
