How many people make their own terrain and boards for fun? And if so what types of terrain? I love making terrain. I made a 4 by 4 foot ruined city. I also made a 20 by 40 inch imperial defence line for fun. My favorite terrain to make is urbane.

I've made a lot of different terrain ranging from snow to urban and it is scattered around my friends' places. My own gaming table is a wasteland swamp with lotsa trees, swamps, rivers, hills and bunkers. Whenever I find something that has a cool shape I have to make it into some kind of terrain feature.

I used to make alot of it, but now I really dont have the time, what with work, writing, drawing, and painting and gaming on top x_X

I try, but things get made very slowly.

I like to make stuff that you'd find in most battlefields....craters, ruins ect, so I have alot of it, and can be used at the click of a finger....but I have let to make any of my supa centre pieces....yet!

I like making terrain and stuff, although i never seem to finish any of my projects. When I start making something, I almost everytime, get another idea and start working on that instead

I have made a 4 x 6 gaming table from MDF, which I intended to cover with modular sections of grassland terrain.

My biggest passion with scenery must be buildnings. I have made several city houses ( none finished!! lol), I usually makes templates in a technincal drawing program like Visio and cut them out from expanded polystyrene (10mm thick) This makes the wall look quite solid and thick, perfect for the gothic style in my mind.

I used to make a lot of woods and hills and stuff but my work kinda has a problem with getting in the way for everything...

Though I have lots of ideas...
I have mentioned a defence laser silo earlier, somewhere on this site...

Right now I'm thinking og making a bunker model of the old cannon base the germans built at Møvik,Kristiansand, Norway and Hanstholm, Denmark during WW2.
The actual sites are enourmous and a model of that would make a great centerpiece for a battlefield.

I make my own terrain, Its all ruined buildings and various battlefield rubble, all out of styrofoam! My stepdad just bought a new table saw, and gave me tons of styrofoam, and I feel like a kid in a candy store.. My centerpiece is a bombed out old fortress with chunks of walls and shizzle missing. I wanna make some sandbag emplacements and gun pits/trenches too. Sad thing is i gotta get my minis painted first, and a bigger table to play on. My table is only good enough for 600-800 pt skirmishes and crap.

I like making terrain but the most of you I never get time or i start something but dont finnish it. I have two 4x4 pieces of styrofoam. One is painted and flocked with a desert theme. The other one I haven't done anything with yet. i like desert terrain cause its easy. all I need to do is make some hills, lots of rock spires and a centerpiece like a ruined bunker or orc settlement.
