Welcome to Librarium Online!
How do you guys paint the eyes? Im having problems getting the paint on the eyes only. Tips appreciated!
Thin paint, a fine point, and a steady hand would encompass the advice I can give. I've read and heard about people using fine-point markers, but that technique just seems wrong to me somehow. How are you bracing your hands while you paint? Whenever I get into fine detail I brace my hands against each other at the palms in order to steady myself. If you don't care about being able to stand up straight for the rest of your life, you can also hunch over your table and brace your wrists on the edge of it.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Oh, by the way - the gif in your signature made me chuckle quite a bit.
When you have no steady like the real artist do not try to do only the one dot for the eyes.
Most easy way I have experienced is:
Paint the face in a flesh color
Paint the white of the eyes as horizontal lines
Paint the black of the eyes as thins vertical lines
This will give quite some white and black outside the eyes but just repaint this with the flesh color and then highlight.
For an example see:
