Hi I was looking at my tyranid genestealers today and on of the head one the sprue it look like the head of a CTHULHU miniature I saw on another site. Got me thinking if I could make a conversion. I know what to use for the wings, arms and head. It the main body and legs I am having trouble with I not sure what to use. Does anyone have an idea. I placed a image of the Cthulhu to give you a idea of what it look like.
That looks like a WizKiz miniature from... Blek... Mage Knight. Warhammer > Mage Knight, just so you know. Our mini's are better sculpted and our rules don't suck.
Anway, to be on topic... I'd just use the legs of a genestealer. They're very similar and could look almost exactly the same with a bit of GSing. As for the body, maybe a nurgling or a heavily sliced and GS'ed genestealer?
hehe, yeah, the lictor model (I belive the classic one) has a face full o'tentacles too.
I always thought "death by cthulu!"
W/D/L Eleventy trillion billion/NONE/ NONE - I am STILL rulezor!
WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
I'd suggest using something from nurgle or possibly just a sculpted ball of clay. IIRC, Cthulhu was somewhat bloated, although not decomposing. You'd have to hide all the wounds and trailing guts.
