40k Dragons Tyranid & Tau help

I'm not sure if this sould be in the gaming section but modeling comes
into this as well. In the lodeling sense what do you think about
the new Lord of the Rings Dragon mixed with a few marine bits
to make a Space Marine Commander riding a dragon.
    {goofy}
As for the gaming aspect it would have these stats:

    WS BS S T W I A Ld Sv
    Megasaur 6 0 8 7 6 3 6 9 3+
    Points/Model:235
Monstrous Creature: A giant reptile is a huge and fearsomely strong beast. It is most definitely a monstrous creature and therefore rolls 2D6 for armour penetration against vehicles and ignores opponent's Armour Saves in close combat.
Crushing Bite: If a giant reptile hits with all of its attacks, it may nominate one model in base contact with it. That model takes a further D3 wounds with no Armour Saves allowed at the end of the round, in addition to the normal consequences of such a successful attack.

Has Wings and is equiped with a heavy Flamer

My Question for gaming is purely : Should I?
My fellow gamers are willing to let me use them but the 2000 poin tyranid army Belives that it's to good to play on the board (He has no weapons), and i would like to ask the tau player what he thinks but he's to busy soiling himself over the idea of a dragon walking round the board...

    Is it to good?
How would you take it down for the tyranid point of view, and the tau's?

    Cheers

If you go down to the pub today your sure of a big surprise!!!

I would give it4 attacks, so on the charge you have 5. And then i would take downt the wounds. Its a huge monstroues creature and isnt likely to be a skilled weapon master so WS4 s suitable. Eh, other wise id say it is fine. Maybe bring the points down a little bit. Its not "that scary"

Joe Peshi (lone wolf) kill tally:Lash Sorcerer, Ghazkull, Yriel, Termi Libby, Vulkan.

way too powerful. This thing is more powerful than a greater deamon.
    reduce T to 6 , W to 4, A to 4
not too sure about the heavy flamer either.
then points should come in around 180

no. don' thave a steed for your commander that is more powerful than he is himself. If you want a dragon riding hero you should go for WHFB.

    1. against Tau it is not needed, you are powerful enough in HTH
    2. against nids not needed you want to shoot them anyway. (sounds to me like you are getting your butt kicked by 'nids in HTH and now you are going for the lazy option )
    Shut up and play.
