I in my army want to use a chaos champ with dual (or whatever, at least single) power claws... However i can't find a component which fits in his arm hole :hmm: I am quite a newbie in miniature gaming... Can anyone give me an advice how to make that champ with a lightning claw? I can show you links with that stuff...
These are power claws: http://tinyurl.com/yspvhu
And the parts of lord: http://tinyurl.com/27my7t
I was thinking about cutting off shoulder pads from "left lighting claw" and "right lightning claw" and gluing them to arm places... Is that correct? And how (with what instruments) could i cut those shoulders?.. Thanks for your help in advance
Primary army: Eldar.
Secondary army: Chaos.
It's probably cheaper to buy the Space Marine Veteran lightning claws, as you get both for $4 (on the GW US site).
Cutting the claw off at the elbow is probably a good way forward, and for that you should be ok with a craft knife/scalpel and a pair of clippers. Anything much larger, and I would probably reccomend getting a modelling/jewellers saw, or using a mini-dremmel.
Good luck converting!

converting metal is always a little hard the first time, but it's not impossible. personally i use a little hobby hacksaw to cut most of my metal. its rough, and cuts out a fair chunk that i always seem to have to end up replacing with GS/plasticard, but im used to that.
as far as what you want to do, i would buy the CSM captain, then the SM veteran lightning claws, cut both of the claws off at the elbow, then use plasticard or GS to match them back up with the CSM captains arms.
