Ok... Heres how I do mine.... And they look awsome!!!!!!

    Spray black.
Paint 70% Bood red/30%(Should be a very dark red)
Then paint all the stuff you'de normally paint with shinning gold with
    80%Bolt gun metal/20%Chaos black
Then paint all the weapons and stuff with The same color...

There so easy... But look hell cool.

ummm...blood red strait on black....would look a bit suss to me, maybe use red gore or sumthin along those lines. also, using boltgun would take away the brass from their army, there god does sit on a brass throne u kno. i think the best way it:

    undercoat ch. blk
drybrush of 50/50 red gore chaos black
drybrush red gore & black 25/75
    red gore 100%
chest nut ink two brushfull to three water.
brazen brass for the edges and boltgun for the fiddly bits.

My guard have red flak armour and I find this works pretty well :
    Spray Chaos Black
    Paint evenly with red gore
Drybrush to your hearts content with blood red
    Wash with flesh wash
    Wash with red ink.

They come out looking pretty cool.
