Since the current HE Hero models look a bit to "princey" I decided to convert my own commander. I wanted him all in scale armour so I used Spearman legs, Silver helm arms and the torso from one of the Bolt Thrower bodies. Here he is:
My concern is the cape looks a bit to.... static. And he doesn't look that special without it.
C&C welcome
If you want it to be less static, cut it up, reposition, and green stuff it. I think the reason it isn't too great is because there really isn't anything distinguishing it from a normal trooper in a different pose (even with the cape).
If you think Mathammer doesn't work and dice cannot be predicted, there's a whole field of mathematics called probability that would like to disagree.
I was thinking of giving him a Silver Helm head peice but I want one that refelcts the star on his shield
When he is painted his star is going to be silver whereas the other spearmen will have white stars.
If you want to make him stand out more, maybe making a base that would raise him up over your other troops would help. I think it looks great as it is, but it might be a little bland for a commander.
