So as soon as my 'crons are done I'm jumping into my custom SM Chapter (fluff available here -- clicky! (The Emperor's Ronin/Planet Dyeshr) ) and I hit upon an idea: since they are basically living on their ships, the bases should look like deck plating or something, right?
Anyone know a quick and easy way to do this? I figure I can buy textured plasticard, but that seems almost too featureless, but I don't wanna go hero-base nuts with the detail, either. Help!
Hmm, thats a tough one. My first thought would be plain old brass etched grill, trouble is it's faily specialist and hard to find. I tried googling it for you and looking through a few catalogues I have but to no avail. But it is out there.
There was an article in WD about the Red Corairs a while ago, the author had a really clever way of doing it. Looking around for that might help .
