Right guys, I need your thoughts on this conversion for a Lost and Damned Large mutant:
Using one of the old Kroxigor, I've removed half of the weapons handle, leaving an arm that can have a suitably sized axe or pik added to it. With the second arm (that's now missing it's hand) I took the double handed weapons blade and stuck it onto the arm, replacing the hand. From here, the ork bitz came out. Using the extra shoulderpads (the spikey ones), I armoured up the arms, until about half way down.
Now, grabbing a few of the extra ork arms I have, I cut the hands off, replacing them with ork blades.
Getting a spare ork head with horned helmet, I removed the ork head completely, leaving a hollowed out helmet. Made a nice fit on the Kroxigors head.
I'll try and get some pics of it as I go, but I need your opinion. Do I use the flat ork shoulderpads to armour up the chest of the beast??
it still sounds to lizardy to me, maby give it on ogryns arm?
PROUD TO BE IN THE BRITISH ARMY.
~~ Surrender and serve me in life, or die and slave for me in death~~
It does look lizard-like still. Thing is, alot of the mutants I'm gonna make are gonna have lizard heads, as I have loads of the old lizardmen saurus heads.
Still, I'll try an ogryn arm. If I can find one.
Sounds good, no pics????
A Promise to a dead man means nothing.
Sounds like it could look great, but I would say it would look too much like a lizard.
In my opinion it would look even better if any big mutie you make is made from as many different and none related parts as possible.
But then again I'm just opinionated

I WAS IN THE IMPERIAL (Norwegian) GUARD!
Actually, I think a lizard feel would be great for big mutants because your most likely going to be upgrading them to scaly.
With mutants or possessed or the like, I find its best to just let urself go!!!
Do the unthinkable - like cut right through bodys, eventhough you dont want too.
I really liked those old kroxigor models so I would hack right through his whole body and swap it with a smaller tbottom torso (seeing as you have orcs, use them)
