What is the scale for Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000? I think it's 28 mm? I could be wrong, but what I really need is the scale for model train accessorys. Alot of the stuff i see in print refers to ho, o, m, z, n, and so fourth. looking at the pictures dosen't help because there is nothing to put it into perspective. I have seen the selections for textured sheet styrene, plastic card at my local hobby shop, but the texture or scale is'nt right. What i'm looking for is cobblestone and diamond plating plastic card in a Warhammer scale. Any help would be great. I am going to write a letter to plastruct directly and see if they can help. here is the adress if any one would like more info on plastic card or sheet styrene...

you're right. GW's wh and 40k models are currently 28 mm, but everything is out of whack. a guardsman is not supposed to be as tall as a Space Marine. and rhinos are supposed to be able to hold 10 SM's.
oh, and go here (What Scale Is Warhammer?). it's handy and tells you what you need to know in a pinch.
Thank you. Thats a great thread! rep for you!
They call it "hero-scale" I believe, and it falls somewhere in between 28mm and 32mm. Much like the models do.
They did it to prevent lots of 28mm conversions, which is why you don't see that many fielded. Everyone always feels that they don't "look quite right" in scale.
It's bloody annoying.
