Hi all, My librarian has the fury of the ancients special rule, and im trying to make a decent model to represent the constrcut. while i was in Boston, i saw a deceiver with a wraithlords head representing an avatar. what i want to do is just that, but with a human head, does anyone know of a human head large enough for the scale of the deciever, or failing that, a good sugsession for a construct?
Personally I would think that the deceiver is a bit on the big side for the construct.
The fluff describes it as some kind of burningmonster/beast. So depending on your conversion/GS skills most monsters from WHFB should do the trick.
EDIT: the Ogre Kingdom Rhinox or the Orc Boars might work rather nicely.

Shut up and play.
What I told someone who actually did it!:
1) Pin some wires to the models hand... preferably one from the Space Marine Devastator sprue of the Missile Launcher holder hand... and preferably three wires.
2) Twist them a little bit and then add GS to them to make them like flames or something like that!
3) Add a skull to the end of the wires or head or anything. This can be done before the GS dries totally so the bond will be better! For better results push the head/skull a little bit inside the GS so it will look like it ejects from it!
4) Find a good way to make the model stable!
My friend did it for a Librarian with a Jump Pack and it is looking very beautiful... and he can use it with other Librarian powers as well!
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
both are very good ideas i might try them on another lib, but IS there a big enough humanesqe head that coudl fit on the deciver to kinda stand up to the nightbringer (not in game terms but as a model of equal size)
Have a look in the Inquisitor range of models, all of which are 54mm in scale. Most of these heads should be of roughly the correct size. Some might be too large but they are the closest thing you will get from the GW range. Here is a link to the Inquisitor range on the UK webiste----> LINK. Hope you find what you are looking for mate; have a browse around and see which heads take your fancy.
