Very simple way to make a force weapon out of a chain sword. All it takes is a little filing work on the end of the chainsword, or cutting off the teeth. Then take two of the small imperial eagle decals that you get from the marine tanks i believe. Take two of them and simply bend off one end of each, making sure that they are opposite so that you can glue them together. File the end flat and slap it on. I found that this gave my libbie a lot of character and many people really liked it.
This arm is very easy to create. It's very simply a normal arm with a devastators hand, however, in this pose it makes him look like he is bringing the Emperor's devine wrath down upon the enemy. Eventually I will get some GS and make the Fury of the ancients coiling up his arm and through his hand. That should look good too.
This is the picture from the front...obviously. Now bear with me as the paint job was quickly slapped on for a tourny, but the combination of the Force Weapon and casting of the Psychic Powers makes for any librarian to be intimdating.
"The only hatred any man should hone, is hatred against himself for not being able to serve the Emperor to his full extent. This is the hatred he should unleash upon the enemy, and in doing so, the Emperor will protect."
Master Lucius, Chapter Master of the Noble Templars
What, 34 views and not one reply? OK i'l start off.....erm.... interesting colour scheme.
Good use of the shoulder pad psychic hood, but I'm really not impressed with the force weapon. It just looks like a chainsword with that thing on the end, and that doesn't make sense to me. I'd sooner just use a power weapon and paint it differently from the other ones in your army.
Chief Inspector Dreyfus: Are you wounded?
Clouseau: No. Fortunately I was saved by the darkness.
Chief Inspector Dreyfus: So what we need is more light.
Mold lines AHHH
What IS that???
I prefer this way of making power swords, from a chain sword.
Simply file off the teeth, then continue filing to create a sharp edge. Easy.
