ahh i cant think of anyway to make my crons look cool. Or fluffy. or converge them into something amazing. help! does anyone have any ideas for my lack of cron awsomeness?
Make them coming out of the ground , for example glue some sand on them so it looks like they have been coming out of the dessert . Or you can use different greens or different watered down greens and glue some of that spongy stuff from the hero basing kit so it looks liek moss or other stuff been growing on them .
gee...that was like.. straight out of the bgb... no i mean like customiseing them man! crazy mutant claws comin outta the back of thier heads! 3 legged flayed ones doing the limbo! no...none of those actually, but..well i guess your right. the only way to change them is to just add terrrian to em...damn...ahhhh curse you unpersonable robot bastards!
An idea for the tomb spyders and scarabs could be to give them legs. By this I mean have them actually scuttling along the ground on mechanical legs as opposed to hovering - different, but not so much that it makes them look silly.
Maybe with the warriors you could build the weapon into their arm. For example, instead of a hand holding the gauss flayer you could have the flayer replace the hand altogether.
Can't really think of anyhing else to be honest, other than interesting and varied posing of the models and unique basing.

You could satisfy my longtime dream of making necrons with red or blue clear acrylic tube instead of the normal green. You can get it pretty cheap online.
I'm considering starting a 'cron army next, and giving them an abattoir theme. Al of them would be kind of like the flayed ones, with pieces of partly decomposing flesh dripping off of weapons and woven over them like clothing. And give the lord a new cape made of stitched together skins blowing in the ethereal wind, faces still frozen in pain and horror as they were stripped from still-living skulls.
Put meat racks on 'liths and destroyers as banners. It'd be creepy fun!
Do not meddle in the affairs of Tyranids, for you are crunchy, and good with ketchup.
