Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hello all, new guy on the block, well not really new, but I just lurked until now
Anyway, don't worry, this is no humpteenth asking for help to convert a WS...
Fact is, since I've never liked the new WS's look, and much prefered the old one seen in the Space Marine game, I finally decided to scratch build one.
Enough talking, here it is:
Overall, considering it's my first building of a mini I'm pretty happy about the result. The main gripe I have is that it ended much bigger than I thought when making the parts... But sculpting into isolation foam isn't that easy when making big parts you plan to assemble.
Looks good (Read: Weird.) but I really don't like the way you did the weapons, it looks like you basically glued them to the side. Make casings for them with foam, or whatever. And yeah, it did end up a bit bulky. Try getting THAT monster through a Wraithgate.

Wait, you mean that optimism isn't fashionable anymore?!

Soup's up, bitches!
Actually I'm working on it... First try was way too square... Looked like the Land Raider's lascanon casing... I'm trying for something rounder, more tear shaped, but it's hell to make...Especially twice!
What led me to the size was the fact that the WS was comparatively much bigger in Space Marine...
Well, anyway, at least it doesn't look just like a barely changed Falcon... But I do fear it'll end up as scenery part rather than on the play field... especially with the "official" WS coming <_<
Considering its a scratch build, very impressive. And I'm very jealous of how you've painted the Fire Prism, the prism itself looks very crystal like..
A rival for Wolfraider, methinks, in painting terms.
"It fits like clothes made out of wasps!"
I likes it. It's more boatlike... you could use it in a special "boating" scenario.
However, it cannot stand before the might of Gigantor.

Tak! Tak! Tak ah wan, Tak a lah!
Mi tow, can de lach.
Mi him, en tow.
great job for a scratch build! if you decide to make another be sure to make it a lil bit smaller  but nice job overall especially the painting!HAHAHA! how true! However, it cannot stand before the might of Gigantor.

Thanks all, feels good to see people like it
Actually, I'm not very happy with the Fire Prism.... You can't see it very well from the pics posted, but I painted a kind of celtic knotwork on one of the front "branches" and it doesn't look good... I mean, it's not badly painted, I think it's even a good paintjob (even if I say so), but it doesn't look good on the mini
The prism... well, I spent a bit of time on it, and although the result isn't terrible, it's not as good as I'd have liked it... I'd have liked it to look more clear... more of a transparency feeling... I've got a last thing to try: coat it with shining varnish... I'll try on someting else first.
Well if you want to take a look , I've got a few other things:
But mind, it hasn't been updated in quite some time (my home connection to the web sucks mightily)...
