Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey people, this is my first time posting here so forgive me for not putting this in the right spot.
Anyway, I figured I'd show off my my painting so you can tell me how to improve.
The handgunners in all their white 'n' grey glory.
The marksman. A theme in my army is that every champion wears a jacket.
A WIP unit of swordsmen and the captain. They're a bit 'unarmed' at the moment.
And finally, an ogre maneater I was thinking of taking. How well do maneaters do in empire armies? I might have to get rid of the rolling pin however, or tell people that she's the captain's maid, which is both funnier and easier.
Okay, you need to flock, it really does make a difference. Second, thin your paints, they look really thick on a lot of them. Lastly, add highlights, inks, or drybrushing. That's about it.
If you think Mathammer doesn't work and dice cannot be predicted, there's a whole field of mathematics called probability that would like to disagree.
not bad. Basing them properly with sand, flock, static grass or all of the above will make them look a lot better for a start. Thinning your paints will also help. Your dry brushing also looks a little messy. Make sure that you wipe as much paint as possible from your brush. When i drybrush i get a tissue and get all the paint from my brush that way. Depending on the look you want to achieve you may not want to take a lot of the paint of your brush its all up to you. good job though, almost good enough for the table top.
