    GW abusing their own terrain

    look at this tutorial:

    Warhammer - The Empire

    the scenery stuff quite nice, i just really don't like the way they keep painting it: it looks way to pristine, no damage, no age weathering.

    I know it's kind of a pointless gripe, i just think the material they made is worth more than they're giving it

    Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

    looks fine to me. I guess its a matter of taste though i could see how it would look equally as cool with heaps of weathering too. I guess it also depends on the way the models are painted that you are going to be using to play on the terrain as well. If your models are painted in a realistic manner then the weathering would look really cool in they were painted in a more 'fantasy' (faker clean look) then the way the buildings are painted by GW would look kool.
