I would like to use 20 or 30 chaos hounds in my LatD army and the only models GW makes are metal and very expensive. Any suggestions on how to make my own models or convert existing plastic models would be helpful.
Well, you could try plastic wolves from the orks and goblins range.... they're plastic. But I guess they're not really cheap either.
You could probably even model LatD models on all fours I guess. Make em look a bit more mutated.
But a really cheap solution... got me on that one.
I think the Goblin Wolf riders are the best you can do. There should not be any cheaper options (at least not provided by GW). So maybe also search some other producers.
Anyway the Wolf riders do not only provide 10 wolves per pack, but you could also built some funny halflings from the Gobbos. Think about it! Some GS could make these really look good (and customised, therefore even better!)
