Welcome to Librarium Online!
Over the past year or so, I had a lot of people asking about my tyranid scheme (especially about my hive tyrant). Finally I got around to turning this into a proper three-page tutorial with plenty of photos, wordy explanations and general how-to goodness.

Though it focuses on tyranids, and specifically my 'desert flower' and 'blue crab' schemes, I'm hopeful it will be of use to anyone who is looking for some ways to handle naturalistic paint schemes.
Thanks for your time,
Very well done, a gold star for you.
Thanks for the tutorial. Really nicely done (both painting and website)
Yep I checked that too even if I'm not a 'Nid player... Very nice tutorial and a + to rep!
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
You have some excellent tutorials there... thanks for sharing!

I'm hoping to add a bunch more to the site in the coming months. It's just a matter of getting photographs prepared, which are the most time consuming part of writing a new tutorial (assuming I don't have writer's block). Also have a lot of painting to do in the coming week, but I've already got ideas for several new tutorials.
Man, nice tutorial!
I espeically liked how you talked about both the high end and doing a more down and dirty painting style for tabletop gaming. Great advice for advanced and beginner painters!

Very good tutorial. Very good to look through and see how other people paint Tyranids. I like the Carnifex with tentacles coming out of it's face and that eye. Also it is cool to see the Malanthrope.
