So, this is my first stab into the wonderful world of Nurgle. Picked up a box of Death guard havocs (mainly because the store didn't have normal plague marines) earlier this week.
This is the result;
Close up from a single minature
I'm pretty much satisfied with the models. In my opinion they look pretty much the best I ever did. And to add with it, I found that these were real fun to paint (the last time that was, was when I was painting up a Terminator chaplain) I sometimes get a bit sloppy with inking and washes, but since it's Nurgle I guess it's not that big of an issue, heh
I was a bit hesitant about the base. But after looking it for a couple of times I grew on me and I really like it. The blue/purple flock along with the rotting flesh rim makes it stand out more. I might put on another layer of glue on the flock but the main layer ain't dry yet. As for the choice of the purple-ish flock... I did most of my bases with a pretty standard kind of flock (desert or grey-ish rubble). The color got my attention right away in the store and it's pretty much a complete opposite from the greenish of the marines.
It must admit, it does look a bit like my plague marines are standing on a bed of flowers
These are my first mini's for my coming Nurgle army (mainly because I think they won't change that much in the new codex and I was deciding beteween Slaanesh & Nurgle) I wrote down how I got the paintjob like this so at least I know what I did and can apply the same thing over and over again.
Any comments on them?

Those are looking pretty nice. Give them bases and they are ready to infest in the name of Nurgle!
good stuffs. Papa Karmoon approves.
Nurgle looks real promising. I must admit, I've started painting my own up pretty hardcore too
I should get my picks up tooo.
