    How to get Shuriken Cannon on Falcon?

    Ok, looking through the other posts here my questions is pretty lame. But here goes:

    I've swapped out the twin-linked shuriken catapults on my falcon for a shuriken cannon. Looking through the extra bitz I have after assembly, it doesn't seem like this substitution is accommodated.

    Anyone have a suggestion as to how they've mounted a shuriken cannon onto the front of a falcon? I'm new to the idea of conversion, but I guess this is a good place to start.

    I did this by ordering the wave serpent weapon sprew for $4. I took the shurikannon off it. Then took the mount from the twin linked catapults and cut it almost in half. Then glued the wire and other part to the mounting part of the cannon. Last i added a magnet conection to the body of the falcon and the two weapon shield things from the sprue i trimmed and added to the cannon to make it look less silly.

    This is a pic I made to show a friend my progress a while back..

    not to hijack, but is that a conversion of a farseer on a jetbike there? Looks fantastic, any chance of getting more info about it? *drools*

    Reminds me of Naussica's wind dancing thingy

    (a little hung over right now)

    Yeah, tis my farseer on a "jetbike" Its a dark eldar skyboard ($3) with some ribbing and holes filled in, Some guardian shuriken catapults pinned inder the wing and the ammo clips from the catapults have been taken off the bottom and stuck on the top rear of the weapons. Other then that its the Farseer with his rock cut off from his feat and magnetic spear arm and head so I can face him into the wind. It was for my adepticon 07 army.

    Sorry for the unforseen hijack. {goofy}

    Thanks for the picture and the suggestion. I must confess that I am slightly intimidated, but I suppose the basic idea is "attach shuriken cannon to twin-linked piece and mess with it till it looks good".

    Your falcon looks great, by the way. However, I must agree that the farseer on the jetbike steals the show. Now that's got me thinking of the Autarch on jetbike project I'm going to have to undertake...

    Actualy, I attached the cannon to the mount for the twin-linked catapults. Ihe small bit with the cable that attaches to the underside of your falcon.

    i'll make you some more pictures.

    give me a few minutes and i'll edit them in.

    great stuff man. ANother quick suggestion would be to magnetize the pieces so you can swap them in and out as required. I'm currently magnetizing the turrets from the falcons and fire prisms, as well as the shuriken cannons from all of the grav tanks.

    The Turret, Pulse laser, Scatter Laser, and Shuriken Cannon are all being held on by magnets. All easly swapable.

    And the farseer's head, spear arm, and feet are held on by magnits. That way I can take him apart for transportation.

    I've done alot of work with magnits, they are great.
