Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have been painting for five years and would like to get competitive, i was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a good 28 mm model with plenty of detail for me to convert paint and enter in t next local comp
there are many awesome minis out there, all you need to do is have a look at a GW store and find something you like.
As for specifics, I think the new Chaos Terminator lord will be awesome. But its not released til september...
What about a Carnifex, or some tyranid warriors? All plastic too...
But I call to God, and the LORD saves me.
No offence, but part of being a mini painter is choosing which minis to paint.
If you are entering a contest and think you have a decent chance of winning then you should choose a model that matches your painting style.
Do you paint lots of smooth gradients? Maybe the graceful curves of an Eldar would be best.
Do you paint lots of freehand? Maybe get a model with a large banner and/or lots of flat surfaces to go to town on...
To give you any real advice, we need to see some decent pics of your models.
But remember, at the end of the day, you have to paint it. Choose a model you like.
