Which paint can I best use for sandy terrain for my Tomb Kings?
Also, any help on what kind of objects to make, and how to make the bases, would be greatly appreciated.
Go for pyramids and sand dunes.
A good tip would be to watch the movie and the mini series "Dune".
It should give some idea to a sandy terrain.
Also look at egyptian arcitecture...
look at the lizard man stuf on the gw site
I adopted a cute lil' ninja fetus

Lizardmen stuff for a khemri army!?
Ok maybe the ruins will work great but think a little and just don't include the lustrious jungle thing...
for the bases get some corrie card (I love this stuff) you should be able to get it from any photographers studio & fairly cheaply (pay no more than £6.00 per sheet) this comes in a sheet of 40'' by 30'' (yes really) this stuff is corrigated card but only 3mm thick & is PERFECT for bases, as for paint get some paint mixed up for you take bubonic brown into any large B&Q or homebase & they can scan the colour & mix it for you (be wary this IS a lot more expensive though although you only need a small tin) as for objects watch the mummy, the mummy returns & the scoprion king these are situated in ancient egypt (excuse the crap acting though, but i figure youll be willing to suffer for the hobby so what the hell great scenery is worth it ................... well maybe not )

If you really are looking for some egyptian stuff I advice you to take a look at reaper minis...
I've bought some stuff from them, and it really comes in handy... stuff like egyption sarcofaguses and statues of egyptian gods like Bast and Anubis.
[I know I posted something similar under Necron terrain, hope this doesnt count as double posting]
Get a 4x4' tray full of sand and make some Egyptian style buildings to put in but dont glue anything to the base. You can then move stuff around how you like.
