Hey all, long time no chat. Been busy with work and school, so Iíll be brief. Iíve got some good pics (and some blurry) of my IW Prince in progress (heís come far in the last 2 days). Also, my new raptor squad. All conversions, of course. But before that....
I went to Baltimore Games Day. It was cool, but the lines sucked. Got some good scenery out of it (helps when your wife builds too!)
Karmoon a Mod?
I have seen the new chaos models. I was expecting more from the termies then just plastic versions of the metal ones (real original). FW Spawn are better ;p However, I am excited.
Iíve seen the new codex rules posted at the games day (you have a screenie in the rumors thread) and Iíve read the rumor here. Oblits to heavy is stupid. Taking away the customizable lords and princes... stupid. Taking away the legions... stupid. Iíve read the justifications too (the legions would all be split up, thatís fluffy)... Well, no itís not. The books have legions, why wouldnít the legions still exist? Basically, we get a whole army of glorified Black Legion... whoop... But there are changes I like, just several I hate.
Ok, now that I have done that, letís get to the conversions. Itís been a while since I posted screenies, but here we go.
Haven't seen you in a while man! Nice to have the Warsmith back on!
Well, hope you can stay. I remember you talking about and planning your IW Prince for ages, nice to see the bits taking place.
Kudos on the raptors too, I did a very similar thing, except put them on flying bases (I really should get some pics online).
And yes, I had the privilege of being chosen by the Warmaster to be a moderator.
Just doin' my bit to help LO.
Anywho.. i guess this should be in the conversion forum, but i'll leave a redirect here a wee bit just incase anyone else from Chaos remembers and wants to comment.

I LOVE YOUR DAEMON PRINCE!!! He's completly original (although I can't tell what the peices you used are). He seems to fit the IW fluff much better than the Vanilla Daemon Prince. I have only one question about the model, are you going to make any changes to the axe arm? It seems too fleshy when compaired to the rest of the model, and could do with some bionics.
Keep up the sweet work!
I like the look of those Raptors. The use of loyalist Marine jump packs is very good. It really adds to the whole industrial machine thing the Iron warriors are into. The parts are well chosen too. I like the use of the Chaos warrior heads as it fits well with the look of the Iron warriors.
The Daemon prince is very good. He does look like some part machine/mutant/daemon thing. Those legs are familiar but I can't place them, what did you use?
SHOAL! Good to see you back. Looking good, man. I especially like the giant walking pinchy evil doomie doomdoom(IW prince)..
Raptors are quite nice too! Thumbs up!
W/D/L Eleventy trillion billion/NONE/ NONE - I am STILL rulezor!
WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
nice looking models so far Shoal. I hope to see an army like this when your done. Itll look very impressive and have most players jealous :ninja:
Penitent Engine legs?
The model looks very cool, I like it. Good job.
