Well I noticed a thread in the IG section of the forum about how to make troops that would follow the fluff of appearing on the board by means of tunneling. I gave him the suggestion of making a little piece of scenery to represent the figures breaking through the surface and I liked the idea so much I did it myself. What I tried to do here is give the impression that the guardsmen have jsut blasted through the bottom section of a road. The first man out of the tunnel has his trusty pick axe high in the air with two other guardsmen right behind him. I tried to make everything with spare parts as not to make it hard for anyone else to duplicate the results. Here it is!
*Its been very humid today so the paints didnt all dry and I wasnt able to finish all my highlights and such so the paint job isnt my usual. Though once its a little drier it will be toughed up. Heck I didnt even start really painting the first figure with the pick axe, lol.
There will be updated pictures when all is done
Nice! I just think the hole should be angled more skyward, the bulge is from the tunneling up, so the hole should be maybe raised a little bit... I'm saying cut away at the top lip a bit, and put a small lip around the bottom. Then it will look perfect.
Oh, and a tutorial would be nice. Especially I want to know how you made the bulge, it looks great.
If you think Mathammer doesn't work and dice cannot be predicted, there's a whole field of mathematics called probability that would like to disagree.
A tutorial, man you jsut want everything dont you, lol. Im in the process of making a different tuturial which will be up later so Ill see what I can do
Very nice terrain you have made there... As catbarf said I think too it should be more angled towards the sky and the tutorial... will you write it?
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
