I'm starting a DA army and i will be using Magnets to hold the arms on the terminators,
so i can change the arms depending on the army i will be against :w00t: will post picks when i get them
Which arms are you switching?
I think he will swap the hands depending on the mission... if he needs Assault Terminators or normal ones... :w00t:
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
I did the same thing, but only with the heavy weapon guys. Now I can switch out AC/HF/SB. I also magnetized the CML so I can stick it on top of one of my LC termies.
My friends did a magnetized arm for his DeathWings Termis but i find that it's abit loose from the look of it, look kinda strange to me. Kust my 2 cents worth..
Never interrupt your opponent when you know he is making a mistake!
Expensive Termies + cheap magnets = good idea
I don't like using magnets especially when you have something that works the way it is. But when you have models that are expensive, its a must.
Since you are starting DA like I am, I can throw you a few tips.
-Get a box of DA Veterans. It comes with the bits to make a Deathwing Terminator and it has an Assault Cannon with the feathers on it. Plus it has the little shields. with DA symbols, that go on their chest
-If you want to use Land Speeders, only buy the Tornados. Then use magnets to attach the Assault Cannon. The multimelta is a easy swap.
Pin the joint as you normally would, but only glue the torso side. Beneath that insert your magnet. This way the pin bears the weight and the magnet stops it from slipping off.
