And finally, my Necrons. This was my first ever army, and the first models i really painted, over 4 years ago now.
The lighting i have is not brilliant, so some of the models needed a flash for me to get a decent picture, so the gold on the necrons is slightly lighter and less intense in real life. Anyway, hope you like them. C+C welcome as always.
And finally, 'group' pictures of some of the rest of my legion

Arhhh! You beat me to the finish line on new Necron army - oh the shame!
I like the Deceiver with the green wash - gives him that old-copper/gold type of a look.
Green shoulderpads are nice.
Green heads on Immortals - not so nice IMHO.
Green skin on Flayed Ones - don't like that at all - makes them look like pieces of clothing and not ripped skin, but if that is what you wanted...
Silver parts on Wraiths need inking - really need inking - LOL
Overall, I like the army, with the above points. Bring images of... The Undead from Fantasy I think... Might be too much gold for some people though - maybe wash them all once more in black ink or something? Also, maybe think about adding one more color to the scheme?
Nice to see another fellow metalhead posting pics!
You're a brave man going with a gold base like that. I couldn't do it. Thought it would be too, I dunno, "C3PO"-ish, but I like what you've done.
And I, for one, like the green flesh. Who says that silly pink human flesh is all they'll have dripping off their skeletons? The Necrons are out to get ALL living things. You think they won't do that to Orks, too?
Valid point Canew
Nice army Deceiver. I like the Ork flesh on the FOs.
Seems this is the beginning of an onslaught of Necron photos as I've nearly completed my first batch of 'Crons.
Question: How did you acheive the "blood" on you FOs' blades? I having trouble with it looking too dull/flat and bright (tone).

The Flayed ones are washed wth red all over. its simply watered down scab red or red gore, cant remember which, but not heavily watered down. about half and half then applied lightly.
As I said this army was completed years ago, but I should probably go back to it and touch it up a little. I can see what you mean about the wraith tails.
Im happy with the feedback so far though, Thank You. Keep it coming.
Some more pics for you to take a look at. i used nnatural light this time, and no flash, so they came out a lot better.
My Destroyer (Wraith, Spyder, Thing) Lord is a bit damaged. He was made up all nice, but whilst i was at uni my brother broke im into quite a few parts, and some of the smaller ones are still missing. Anyway, just imagine him with a gauss rod and tip on the warscythe, and a gauss rod/tip in the wraih tail too...
And also, my Monolith, cant believe i for this first time around
hehe, I likey the orky hide on the flayed ones!
W/D/L Eleventy trillion billion/NONE/ NONE - I am STILL rulezor!
WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
I'm starting to think that Deceiver may have an unhealthy fascination with death
I like the necrons - very different from what I usually see from them. The orc flesh takes some explaining, but it is a very cool idea. Nicely done, sir.
stunning, but isn't the flesh on flayed ones usually gore-y? or did they literally fillet some orks? This isn't criticism, but just questioning, I mean hell I don't know much lore or of bodily functions, but visually stunning; I'm painting my first army and they don't look near as well
