Hi I need a spray can of blood red or blood angels red
local shop owner said it should be acrylic?
I think a long time ago I bought at a different store thats not around anymore a can of blood angels red or blood red. (which I can't find)
I need this to spray my blood angels units so I don't have to paint them red manually with a brush, it looks a lot better when applied by spray before assembly.
Also do I need to bother with primer and should it be white or black?
Any links to somewhere I can buy some suitable red spray paint would be much appreciated thx!
The GW sprays, save Skull White and Chaos Black, are all but gone. They stopped distributing them over a year ago. I ran into the same dilemma looking for Bleached Bone spray. I've heard horror stories about using other sprays, specifically that detail gets lost. My solution was to buy an air brush and air compressor. Now I can mix whatever color I want and make a spray of it.

To answer your question about priming... Yes you want to prime. Either white or black is fine - really your preference, though white will probably give you a richer more optimal result.
I bought some blood angel spray last year, however it is hard to find. Best bet is to find a hobby shop that carried it and hope they have some old inventory left. Otherwise...

Id go for a black undercoat (sprayed) then mecharite red (?) foundation paint with a layer of blood red over the top
its a shame about the other sprays- id kill for a catachan green spray to do tanks!
