Hello i was thinking of a cool way to convert one of my Death company into a BA chaplain and i was looking on the battlewagon bits for some ideas for the head and i found something i really like but idk if its possible to make help me out if u can!!
Take this skull head
And cut it to use only the front half of the skully part and somehow put it in place of this DA face
Help is much appreciated! The only way i can think would b to file down the space marine head? idk
yeah, the way I would approach it would be to either take an exacto and start shaving off the face, or to drill a hole first and carve it out from the inside(which may be a bit easier.
Though the big chunks can be initially taken off via clippers. , then scoop out the inside of the cowl as best as you can.
Then snip the above skull head in half, separating the face part from the back of the head.
then start to fit it in under the cloak. you'll probably have to take parts of his forehead off to make it fit under there. Remember, if you take a bit too much, you can putty it to fit.
hope this helps.
W/D/L Eleventy trillion billion/NONE/ NONE - I am STILL rulezor!
WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
Thank u! i appreciate it! i will have to get my death company and send some pics of the conversion when its done
You can make a chaplain with hood fairly easily out of any skull - Depending on your greenstuff skills, of course.
Personally I prefer the skulls that come on the chaos vehcle accessory sprue. All you need to do is take the skull and glue in on the miniature. Then you can add a chin/filtermask and add the hood with GS.
You can find the guys I did at the folloing link (scroll down a little bit):

Shut up and play.
Lamenter's right, just a small piece of greenstuff will save you about an hour's worth of time and effort. Hoods are some of the easiest thing to do with GS, and even if you can't get your hands on any, you could just put superglue over a clay or stickytack hood.
