Hi, i have a 1850pt Dark elder army under construction, and I need some help finding a paint job that is reasonably quick (but still looks great) and suited to an intermediate painter. I dunno if this is fluff or not but maybe if people could post a pic of a model from the DE army and aybe say how they painted it and maybe variations i can use? I was thinking green......
My DE army i painted in less than a week, 60 warriors, 10 incubi, raider, lord, haemys, etc. Did with a very quick and easy colour scheme,
1. spray black
2. paint all armour plates dark angels green
3. highlight the armour jade green, even thick messy highlights will look fantastic
4. drybrush the rest of the model (which is black) with a mix of grey and black
5. do the base however you want
the squad looks amazing, especially when u have lots of warriors done that way. I will try for pics soon. U can easily do 20 models in 2 hours like that, and if your neat they will look almost exactly like the dark green ones on the side of the DE warriors box.
Hope this helps, cheers
