Drop everything off the Inquisitor Lord for a psycannon and switch out a heavy bolter for a plasma cannon.

I would get the ISTs in some transports to the front lines.

    Ok. . .

well Im going to trade for that
and im not taking a plasma cannon they are just not worth it

if your opponent is good their will be at least a little space in their squad so you would be hitting 2 at most with 1 model being hit the majority of the time, and my Lord is staying as is because I Like him like that. so besides the Iron storm configuration for the HQ is their any other suggestions

Well, there's not a whole lot to suggest without changing much of your list. The main lack in your army appears to be anti-armour. Your one-and-only unit that is equipped to deal with heavier targets lacks the mobility to do so (your IST melta squad). So my major suggestion would be to either get these guys a transport (which sorta requires you to get more vehicles in your list, cause how long is a lone rhino going to last?), or figure some other way to get longer-range fire support in your list. Either way is going to require some restructuring, if you want to go that route. You might consider switching out the Callidus for an Eversor, who has the melta bombs, so he could potentially be used for an infiltrating early-game tank-hunter. I guess the other way to go is just to hope your opponents don't bring any armour at this points-level .

Dunno how useful a combi-flamer is on your I-lord... you're paying ten times more for the combi weapon to give him a one-shot, close-range assault weapon when he's sitting in a static fire support squad. Seems to me the points would be better spent elsewhere, and just give him a bolter, or upgrade to the superior psycannon, which would give you more options against the sort of light vehicles you might see.

Just some thoughts. Good luck with your list =)

    Thank you for the Advice.

I will switch out the assassins because that sounds like a good idea actually. and I Know Anti-Armour is my main thing that is killing me and i just realized that the IST cant Infiltrate. but I figured that the Daemon Hosts could be used to pop tanks too

S6 isn't that bad seeing how my main opponents are Guard and Orks and all their vehicles have a 10 on one side. and on top of that the DH has a chance of S9

So I will be using the DaemonHosts(DH) and the Eversor for anti-tank and at 750points I dont expect too(stress on that) many tanks mainly a Russ or two and then Khilla Kans

so Im going to switch the one squad with Meltas to two Plasma and then Im going to switch assassins

    Ok now to the Lord

One he isnt really going to be my Kick Ass guy. he is the way I like him so critic everything except him. I understand that if I wanted to make that squad truly competeve a Psycannon is almost a must. and Im a pyro so the one shot flamer is just insanely cool to me!!!

I understand the draw of building the model you want, but you should acknowledge that your =I= load-out means he doesn't fit with the fire support duties of his retinue. He's built for (weak) counter-charging, while everybody else wants to stay put and shoot. Give him that psycannon, and suddenly he gets to participate in the primary duty of the squad he's with -- and with a superior gun, too!

Mixed duty squads don't work in 40K. About the only unit that is clearly capable of succeeding at multiple tasks (i.e., shooting and assaulting) are GKs themselves. Most every other unit in every other army can and should be geared to perform a particular battlefield role.
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

Judging from his last post, I think Toeko does realize his Inquisitor is not the most effective build, and he doesn't really mind . Which is of course perfectly acceptable. As an Engineer, I tend to think along the lines of optimization, but if you're happy with your Inquisitor, Toeko, by all means proceed with the heretic roasting . *Edit* Or maybe not heretic roasting, since you've got a Radical army... uhhhmm... then proceed with the non-specific-enemy roasting, I guess =D *End edit*

    Exactly

my Inquisitor is strictly for Character. although when we run our campaign he will become a lot better.

and seeing as I have 25 points left to spend his Combi-Flamer just became an Incenerator :party:8X

and my Inquisitor will mainly be roasting anyone who tries to stop him lol

thanks for the advice I know if I wanted an army to compete in a tournament I would opt for some Different stuff

This list is strictly for Fun gaming and a Campaign which will be fought against Orks and guard

    Actually they are 170 points...

if your opponent is good their will be at least a little space in their squad so you would be hitting 2 at most with 1 model being hit the majority of the time
At least 1 total and 2 for 4+ will be shot, but don't forget, that terrain means much! Even if he would like to spread, most of the times he can't, because of the size of the buildings, etc. And with 2 sages, You don't have to be afraid of the 1s of the plasma because of the reroll.

Apart from that I kinda like Your army, but don't know what You'll do against an IG, who has much more firepower than You, and can shoot and enormous amount of firepower at the =I= and his retinue. Don't forget that even a multilaser will instakill Your =I= .
