I have never really played marines, but have always loved the image of the dark Angels, as such I have put away my Eldar for a while to start a roughly 2000 point dark Angels army, which will eventually expand to a whole battle company plus half the deathwing and ravenwing for apocalypse.
What do you thikn fo this list? How should it be changed?
Deathwing Team Lazarus-
3 Lightening Claws, Thunder hammer/Storm Shield, Chain Fist/Assault cannon, Drop Pod
Deathwing Team – Zohar
3 Lightening Claws, Thunder hammer/Storm Shield, Chain Fist/Heavy Flamer
Ravenwing attack squadron Abarim–
a) 3 Bikes, Flamer, Sergeant with Power sword
b) 3 Bikes, Plasma gun
Ravenwing attack squadron Baruch–
a) 3 Bikes, Flamer Sergeant with power sword
b) 3 Bikes, Plasma gun
Ravening support squadron Ishmael-
3 Land Speeders with Multi-Metas and Typhoon Missile launchers
Devastator Squad Shadrach-
a) 2 plasma Cannons, Veteran sergeant power weapon, 2 marines
b) 2 plasma cannons, 3 marines
Devastator Squad Meshac-
a) 2 Lascannons, Veteran Sargent power weapon, 2 marines
b) 2 Lascannons, 3 marines
Drop pods aren't an option for the Deathwing any longer. It's walk, Deathwing Assault or hitch a ride in a passing Land Raider I'm afraid.
On the Speeder Squadron, you are better splitting them into individual squadrons of one each, that way they can move and shoot independently as well as giving you two additional point-scoring units.
If you have the points reconfigure your Biker squads so that the two meltas are in the same squadron, preferably with a Sarge with a powerfist. The other squadron can be given the flamers, and the power sword Sarge should be given a meltabomb too.
I don't like that many assault weapons in a termy squad. Especially if they are footslogging it. One or two pairs of claws per squad are ample.
In the Dev Squads split each into 2 x Las and 2 x HB or ML. The plasmas are nice don't get me wrong but they do overheat. The Sarge doesn't really need a power weapon as these devvies will hardly move let alone get into combat.
