The EC will join one crusader squad and the chappy will join the other. I intent to split the Land Speeder Tornado's to take advantage of all three fast attack org slots. I know I should put power of the machine spirit on the vindicator, but every time I play the vindi it either gets the shit blown out of it or gets a few shots off then gets the shit blown out of it. Seems like everything out there can take down armor fairly easily and putting POMS on it it is just giving the opponent 30 free bonus VPs. Anyway please tell me what you think would this list be even remotely competitive in a tournament. Thanks again.
I like the basis of the list being 2 squads of 12 marines each, lead by the EC and the Chaplain, but I think the vehicles seem a bit out of place. The list is good, so these are just personal opinions.
So lets assume you drop the vindi and annihilator for other tank killing goodness. I'll assume this because they are the only real vehicles on the board, and offer a pretty decent threat, so will thus die quickly (think about the vindi and how long it normally lasts). First and foremost I would get a few meltaguns in the crusader squads (1 in each squad), allowing you to kill anything you are up against. Flush out these squads to 15 or so if you have the points (especially the squad with the chaplain).
The termies are good, and will kill just about anything in their 24" range. EC & chaplain are good, as are the fast attack choices. So then, what do I suggest you take for Tank killing? One of two choices. First is the obvious 117 pt 6-man las/plas squad. Two of them will do you well (as well as the two vehicles). However, without the leadership of a marshal, they will be prone to running later in the game. You could also go with another squad of 15 men, as they will do as much damage as anything else. Leadership is a problem, though.
Another choice (strange as it may seem) is the 3 or 4 man bike squad with 3 meltas. This interferes with the fast attack options (skimmers) you might take, so I would stay away from them.
Finally, think about 2 dreadnoughts. They are vehicles, but at 24" (same as the termies), and can provide a good firebase for you.

I play against a few BT armies so I am familiar with what tends to work. I agree with Y'he Sha'is in that a dreadnought with a twin linked las-cannon would be better for you.
Another option is a 6 man las/plas squad in a razorback with twin linked las-cannons. :happy:
