I much prefer executioners to conquerers, they are much cheaper and a single small template really is no improvement over 2 twin linked shots at the same str and ap.

Vanquishers are better than tank hunters as the hunters only have small templates again. A large template combined with the option of a great penetrating direct shot trumps the high str low Ap of the hunter.

Las cannons are expensive, I prefer the 3hb setup myself.

Extra armor is a requirement! Really... stun results are common and not being able to move behind cover to recover is deadly.

Lastly seriously consider Ace Gunner, it's very expensive but it nearly doubles the chances of a direct hit with ordinance (from 33 to 54%) and increases the direct hit % for aces and command tanks by 11%.

Track gaurds are tough, if you like them keep them, however they are pricey.

    You mean the exterminator?

althought thisis true. i fight armys with alot of terminators. so i believe this would be the best bet.

Ill see what i can shave off...

    Mmm.... ill look into this.

    Doh...

    Doh! Yes i mean exterminators...

If it's termie killing you want get demolisher's. big plates and much cheaper than tank hunters. (shorter range yes but you have to move up to take objectives in a any case and the extra armor is nice too.). Demo's are also great for armor punching (combined with ace gunner for the direct hit accuracy).

I like Bassies alot but consider this, the main advantage of a Bassie is that it denies enemy heavy weapons the chance to strike at it. However with so much armor already available for the enemy to shoot at it kinda makes this advantage moot.

    Just noticed.

you seem to think that your bassies are troop choices, they are not. You dont have to buy an ace for any of your heavy choices. this means you can dump one ace for a regular troop choice and spend the extra points on gear if your wish. 1 hq and 1 ace means 4 troop choices, +2 heavy choices you don't need an hq or ace for.

THe basilisks are heavy choices its not mandetory to take 2 tanks for each ace and command. "You may choose 0-2 for each command and ace"

    How does it look now?
