    Geez, this list looks almost identical to mine.

    HQ- If you're giving your JO an HI, might as well give him a power weapon. Its cheap and can make use of his other increased stats. I don't like the special weapons squad. I love hardened vets and IMO they can do anything the SWS can do and better.

    I'd give one of the hardened vet. squads melta guns. A bit more anti armor fits my fancy.

    Everything else looks good. Maybe check out me list?

    There should be 6 people here. Someone's missing
    Snipers and demo charges don't really fit together. I would take a different special weapon or nothing else but the charge instead.

    Just out of a rough calculation, I think that the command platoon is underpriced. Command squads, support squads, etc must have carapace if you take the doctrine.

    Extra armor is cheap and could really help you out here.


    I think that the list is somewhat lacking in anti-tank. If you face a land raider or something, all you really have to fight it is tied up in a 6 man squad.
    As for AV13, you may find some trouble too. While plasma and autocannons are capable of taking these out, its kind of difficult.
    Missile launchers, meltas or a few more lascannons would be nice.

    That looks pretty good, very similar to one I concieved a while ago, but I have to ask, are you planning on deep striking those Storm Troopers? I'm not sure how much I can say on this, but you may want to double check the drop troops doctrine in the codex if you are.

    G'day,
    I think that the list is too somewhat complex and that you are attempting to try and cover every possible situation, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. The best thing to do is to just make a fairly simple yet solid army that has a strong leadership bonus, some big scary guns or maybe some tanks and of course the infantry to support them.

    To me your army seems like it is just going to get seperated, dispersed and destroyed, however i haven't seen you play and are thus not going to say too much. Furthermore i advise that maybe you try to gel your army together more, IG play best in numbers, and thus firepower your army seems to lack this group capability.

    About the SWS what the hell? a sniper rifle and a demo charge? and where is the last guardsmen? just give them 3 meltas or plasmas and drop the buggers in, although i would rather opt for the Hard Vets to drop in, they are cheaper and more effective.

    Furthermore, the layout isn't very clear with some of your squads, how many do they have in them, like the Hardened Vets and i hope you know that EVERY single unit must take carapace if they are able to, it seems to me that you aren't doing this and are just selectively applying it, you CANT do this.
