    1500pts friendly + tactical

    Here's a go at 1500pts of friendly but tactical play, 2 alternate HQ choices, im not sure which one's better..

    Theres the list, the 2 scout squads deploy together as a heavy bolter team, with a land raider as a moving bunker, and a whirlwind for more anti infantry. 2 normal squads for objectives, 2 small squads to snipe armour, a land speeder to flank around, dreadnought to support the footsloggers, then either a cc hq or a shooty hq option

    what do you think?

    Not too bad. I like the infiltrate on the command squads, especially on the librarian. This is a list that would definitely require some unorthodox tactics. Especially with the command squad being as close as it can get at deployment. Also the lack of dedicated transports isn't seen that often with tactical squads that are meant to get into CC. That can work to your advantage though with the raider being able to absorb as much damage as it does and not having to worry about which squad is using it. One jumps out the other can jump in.

    I must say I don't see enough marine players using a speeder the right way either. I have mine heavy flamer/multi melta. Good list though if used right. What ever you do don't lose that whirlwind. it's a great way to force units out of their cover.
