Everything is pretty much self-explanatory; The inquisitor just chills back and counters other psychers (we play same armies against 2-4 opponents in a row and i know for a fact ill be facing chaos and nids)
I am not sure if the inquisitor and assassin are a good asset to this force, I have been using assassins ever since I started playing in second edition and I find them very entertaining. Also the inquisitor allows me to pick the table edge in most cases.
I think the list looks pretty good.
I would just try to get extra armor on the Rhinos, and if possible, the Exorcist.
There is no such thing as a plea for innocence in my court. A plea for innocence is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty.

i would drop the inquisitor and assassin and grab another exo. or another unit of sisters.
i dont really like hereticus inquisitors they never seem to accomplish anything. and assassins can be a real point sink.
personal opinion though

Latest LO Blog Post<+Tarnag> Who could help but love a name like Ultramoose, I think of a Moose with a rocket strapped to it breathing fire and wailing on a guitar
But inquisitors are so fluffy!
Honestly though... a phsycic hood wont help much on the elite inquisitor. He'll stop... sanctioned physchers consistantly (which most poeple don't use) and that's about it. Most Psychers have ld 9 or 10, so I would take that off him and use the points for something else. His other peice of wargear, as nifty as it is for games where the terrain isn't pre deployed, again would be much better on an inquistor Lord because of his higher leadership. Your inquisitor seems more a point sink then anything. If you want to keep him there to unlock the assassins I would at least remove the wargear from him and use the points to get extra armor on your rhinos and exorsist.
Also not needed is the book of saint lucious on the Veteran Superior in the Assault squad. Everything in your army, aside from the cannoness, has leadership of 9. Now puting that book on the Cannoness would actualy be helpfull. I would also note that the leadership from that book wont help your inquisitor when taking leadership checks pertaining to his wargear. The book only works on moral and pinning tests. I think its something you can possibly do without unless you need filler.
What I would do to your list is drop the inquitors wargear, and the book of st. lucious, upgrade your vehicles with extra armor, and with the spare points to spruse the inquisitor up in whatever fluffy way sounds fun to convert. ^_^
If this was for a tournament tho, I'd drop the inquistor and assassins entirely and do what
ultramoose suggests. Sense its friendly though, I would have fun with the assassin models, they are a riskier choice but you might find that they will pay off for you, who knows?
Thank you for your input, still working on the list.;Y
The inquisitor, as you said, is a tad disappointing. The assassin however peoved very resourceful, word in your ear have saved me from daemon prince charging into me, later on, it put tau's hammerhead in a good position to be taken out by the exorcist. Assassin's martial ability was not as amazing, but he did well against non-elite squads and did kill an etherial who was making a mob of kroot fearless who were later on broken.
The extra armour would be a big help in those games also, so probably I should persuade the inquisitor go to a local pawn shop to sell his psychic hood and buy some scrap metal for extra armour.
Otherwise it was fun, won against chaos, draw against tyranids and tau.
I will sit today a little more in the evening and look to improve the list.
ok, I seriously have to wonder, fluff wise, how that assassin could have convinced a daemon prince to move. Freaking epic.
I would think a demon would be most susceptible of all; eager to cheat, without scruples, and susceptible to temptation.
De gustibus non est disputandum.
The Imperium Emporium: Jeb's Imperial Curiosities plog, starting with Grey Knights!
I think that fluff-wise the daemon could have sensed something wrong with one of the soldiers and went to investigate.
Also for the inquisitor I was pondering on changing his gear:
Ordo Malleus Inquisitor (elite) 70pts
It is 10 points higher, still unlocks the assassin and allows some mobile support fire.
Or it is a bit dangerous, maybe should stick with a plasma cannon inquisitor?
I want to generate a decent competitive list, but I just love assassins, so I suppose I have to make the best from the inquisitor setups.
Expansion of the list:
I also was pondering if I should include either a brother-captain or a grand-master when i move my list to higher points ( i just finished painting both of my sister squads, will add some decorations to rhinos tomorrow and maybe start doodling something on them.
Also a rule question:
Psycannon part in the end reads: "...Only armour saves may be taken..." does that mean that cover saves are eliminated by it or its just a power monger in my head speaking?
