    The II 'H.A.D.E.S' Helghan Regiment

    hey all, umm im just hopin someone can help me on my list, i had posted one before and was told it was... illegal due to the fact i didnt know the overall IG foundation of the lists. but im hoping this one works.

    i have included some IMPERIAL ARMOR units which i was informed it is NOT illegal due to the fact that it SAYS regardless if the unit is in the codex it is able to be used if it says the army list one the selection.

    and to clear things up
    WH= a witch Hunter unit
    E= ELITE
    HQ= i REALLY hope u kno this
    HS (their is an excessive amount of these because you can take PLATOONS which i have so dont worry!)

    SR=Support regiment and is appart of the overall IG HQ choice

    and hopefully the names i gave my units dont confuse you guys!

    thanks in advance

    ........Sorry but no, re-do your list.

    HQ-

    you can only have 0-3 of any henchmen type(unless your using s special char)

    another thing is how many points does this equal(2000?)

    you dont need that many commisars, its a waste of too many points, personally commisars are not worth it, they cost more than a lascannon.

    HS-

    lots of problems here....

    drop the sentry guns, they suck, really they do, it doesnt use the weapons max range and 3 sentinels, would be better...

    drop the cyclops demo tanks because they need to get way too close to be useful, and a barebone special wpn squad with a demo charge is more survuvable(has to kill more guys) and cheaper(as much as a sentinel with a multilaser), in addition if they succeed in kiling the enemy with their charge, you now have a good bait squad, sneaky objective claimer, speed bump squad, or meatshield squad. you might want one because they are pretty cool, but you dont need 3 there are better ways to spend those points.

    drop flamers in your demo squads, they're not worth it, it makes the squad cost more than it needs to.

    try to fit a basalisk, or a demolisher in there, basalisk because it kills lots of enemies at once, and can see everything, a demolisher would be good for those nasty(and i hate them) terminator deepstriking squads that decimate guard armies.

    so remove your excess units(flamers in demo squads, at least 2 cyclops, extra guys you cannot use in your WH squad, too many commisars, 1 or 2 is good, sentry guns are the worst unit in imperial armor(the executioner tank comes close.....you want me to pay HOW many points, for a mobile plasma cannon!!!!)

    do u use docterines, if you do you might want iron disipline, maybe add in Rough riders(they do make their points back if you make them as cheap as possible.....i love it when opponents deepstrike terminators XD)

    otherwise good luck with you games

    P.S. i just noticed its a 2000 pt army, you might want to bold that, its not easy to recognize, in additon most people put their point level on the bottom of the list. Hope i helped >_<

    No i thank you VERY much, this was the reason i put the list up! haha id actually be kinda mad at myself if i played a game with this list to find out it was illegal.
    as for the cyclops and flamer squads. my biggest grudge with the switch to other units is, the cyclops are EXTREMELY cheap for little remote controlled toys that blow up! after a couple of games will earn a reputation of being annoying if they make it... making them a priority...
    all around armour of 10 is pretty crappy but if it gives my other troops more survivability i dont see why not.

    the flamers is for the Horde armies like nids...(theirs alot of nid,orks, and eldar players where i play at)
    and it seemed a decent investment

    but like i said THANK OU very very much!

    hey i didnt say to get rid of flamers, the thing is a demo squad is a frontline, risky squad, flamers will probably only be used once, if at all. keep demo squads cheap to drop their bomb and be a useful squad the enemy doesnt want to waste time on but has to

    ive been thinking and actually i guess cyclops could be good, but be careful because if it gets hit by a weapon and it either glances, or pens, it explodes right next to your squads!!!

    BTW.. the way you set up the list, and the name of your regiment is cool
