one plasma gun and combi-flamer
4 scouts with sniper rifles
1 scout with a missle launcher
anyway this is my list any feedback is appreciated i would really like to start building this army as soon as possible and one last thing i would really like to know is am i able to attach the grey knight terminators to my terminator chaplain and make them one kick ass squad
Right now you're a little low on mobility, so that's where I would head with those extra 230 points. I'd suggest either adding a second Tactical Squad and then putting both of them in Rhinos, or getting an Assault Squad.
You're also a bit shy on anti-tank firepower. You could put some heavy weapons in the Tactical Squad to help, or you can give the Assault Squad a power fist and some plasma pistols.
This may be a bit hard to balance out with the points you have left. If it were me, I'd drop the Grey Knights; at 1000 points they're taking up 25% of your total army but only contribute 5 models. You may want to hold off on them until the 1500 point level so you can set up a solid base of troops first.
The other thing to think about it the impending Codex change. The trend thus far (i.e. Dark Angels and Blood Angels) has been towards combat squads, so you may want to keep that in mind when starting out. Not saying it's going to happen, but it's worth thinking about.
ok i had a really good idea about adding anti tank fire power and mobility
i thought about dropping the heavy flamer from the dreadnought which is 10 points off the list and adding 3 landspeeders ( 3 seperate units ) each with an assult cannon and i think this brings me to exactly 1k points the assult cannons and heavy bolters help when fighting horde armys ( and any other type of army ) also it helps with tank destrying because of the rending ability so what do you think about that development ?
If it were me, I wouldn't rely on assault cannons to bust up armour. Rending relies on luck; it might do in a pinch but I wouldn't use it as my only AT. If you're looking to use speeders, try using the flamer / melta version. You could also try to use some bikers with melta guns and power fists if you're set on having your AT zip around the board.
OK well i was really liking the being able to move 12" and also pump about 21 shots but maybe i could take only 1 i really like the fact that they can move and shoot a heavy bolter and an autocannon i am not really keen on a assult squad i dont really like them
maybe ill take the tactical squad but i dont like the fact that they have to stand still for a turn to fire one shot like a lascannon my chaos background is evident so im not complety sure
