This list came out of the grenadiers cheapest troops choice discussion. Unlike most grenadier lists this is designed to be a mobile gunline rather than a completely mobile force.

squad with mortar
Sentinel with multilaser x 2 90pts
5 stormtroopers with two meltas deep strike 75pts

Stormie squad with two grenade launchers 86pts
Gren squad 1 7 stormies with two grenade laucnhers 86 pts
Gren squad 2 7 stormies with two grenade launchers 86 pts
Gren squad 3 7 stormies with two grenade launchers 86 pts
Sentinel with lascannon 55pts
Sentinel with lascannon 55pts
5x rough riders with lances and carapace and vet sarge 81 pts
Bassie with indirect, 125 points
Now this list is fiarly basic and comes out at 1000 points. The whole idea is the gren line squads all setup in cover like buildings and woods etc some even behind cover but essentially all together supporting eachother. They entice the enemy foreward into attack and then try to keep the enemy at medium range with concentrated firepower, occaiasionally going in close to finish units off. The rough riders are there to add a deterent to very close units and also help out keeping the enemy at range. The actual stormies go for vehicles (ie tanks or transports/lighter vehicles respectively) the same goes for the sentinels. the third stromie squad sticks with the grenadiers to bulk them out a little. The bassie is there for some support and again as enticement for the enemy to close the range.
With other gunline armies you can always play aggresively and push forwards in a small area of their flank supported by the sentinels sort of refused flank idea.
So what do people think any suggestions?
When you use grenadiers it says you can take stormies as troops. It doesn't say you can avoid the 1+ requirement of the basic troops squad though.
Just my interpretation and I am still kinda new to guard. Is this not so?
Oh and why not take the elite stormies as troops so they can be scoring and count as less kill points?
The list is interesting, but to be honest I'm not quite sure how effective it would be.
Anyways, some changes that I would make:
Add a standard to the HQ squad - it's cheap and effective.
All of your anti-tank choices are kind of fragile, so another deep striking melta squad could be better than the plasma squad.
It might be good to drop the multilaser sentinels and instead increase the sizes of the Grenadier squads and the 3rd storm trooper squad to make them more survivable. Since most heavy weapons will outrange their guns, they'll probably be taking hits before they can fire back.
I think that it wouldn't hurt to swap a few grenade launchers for plasma guns. The good strength and AP will be useful against MEQs and MC's.
Hope this helps
Only 3 grenadier squads may be taken. Also, grenadiers can't infiltrate or deep strike.

qsd forget the standard, it doesn't work for grenadiers or stormtroopers
as for my opinion, you might want to try to fit in 1 or 2 more vehicles, you dont have many men in a grenadier list, and vehicles tend to take the pain off your men
