I was wondering if it was still possible to make an apothecary list. I think its that replaces Sergeants w/ Apothecaries. I used it about a year ago and man... you a termi squad to shoot shit up w/ 2-3 apothecaries healing them its amazing.
Can you still do this? Anything in the new rules that have effected it?
And if so....
Anyone know a good set-up?
As far as I read in the SM codex you can only have Apocs in Command Squads, so you only can get a max of 2 per army unless I am entirely missing something.
In earlier versions you could just buy Apocs but I would guess tha changed to keep things like stacking 3 apocs on a termy squad from happening
I suppose you could create a personal army with some sort of fluff behind it that allowed for additional Apocs, like maybe the chapter is desperate for geneseeds and has trained all its Veteran Srgts on how to use the Reductor to ensure that all seeds are returned to the chapter or something like that. Id guess you would ahve to include some serious negatives into your fluff, like 0-1 heavy and or 0-1 elite units or something so people would be alright with you having an Apoc in every squad...
its a trait you can use that allows you to take more apothicaries. though the 3 termie squads backed up by a lot of apothicaries is what i like to call an a-hole list. plus with the new 5th edition rules, you wont be winning to many games that involve scoring units
