2000 pt Guard Competitive, need criticism

I recently got back into 40k and my imperial guard and I have fabricated a 2000 pt list that I will be using in competitive play. I have used lists similar to this and I have had success. It is a very shooty style of playing guard (probably the most destructive aspect of guard). I went heavy on the lascannons and compensated for anti-horde with 2 Hellhounds. Please give it a read and tell me what you think. Thanks.

P.S. I am usually playing against ork, eldar, tyranids, and many many Space Marines.

get some special weapons in command squads(assault weapons)

plasma spam is not that great, get some other weapons in there

you cannot have 2 heavy weapons in a command squad

having 1 vehicle ensures that it will die, always have more than one vehicle, so you can split your enemies anti tank weapons, a demolisher, gettting shot at by a predator annhilator, a land raider, and a devastator squad will most likely not survive 1 turn, but if its only getting shot at by the predator, or the devastators, its likely to only get stunned.
    Hellhounds are good tanks

You cant have 2x mortars in a command squad and mortars work best in groups of 3x.

    2 - Special Weapons:
Most tiranids assault so fast that you cant get a good shoot with flamers against them. Also you have so many lascannons that I doubt that you really need plasma guns, after all usually you dont play against "Il be back" necrons. Maybe you can try grenade launchers.
