    This is pretty close to how I roll!

    How do you plan on using this list? I usually sit still for 4 turns, hoping I will seriously damage the enemy before they get in close combat. Turns 5 and 6 are spent whinging about how many of the enemy still made it into close combat. I only ever play against marines though.

    Hmm, a pretty nice looking 500pt list there, plenty of heavy weapons (which is never a bad thing) with a nice mix of anti-tank and anti-personnel.

    With 5 points left, consider investing in a Power Weapon or a Storm Bolter, no sense in being a weapon short if you have points to spare.
    The name refers to facial hair, not playing style.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't realize until later that I still had the points to put extra armor onto the Chimera, so I did that instead of the extra close combat goodness.

    The general plan of attack for this list is to have the fist squad rush forward onto an objective and take it whil getting cover fire from everyone else. Than, once they captured it, have the 2 infantry squads run up and reenforce them while the command squads and mortar teams continue to hit attacking units.

    Hmm, tactics-wise I would probably not grab the objective right off.

    Personally (and dont take this as gospel by any means, my win-loss record leaves a lot to be desired...) I would spend at least a couple of turns putting the hurt on the enemy with ranged firepower before grabbing objectives, if only because then they wont have so much in the way of numbers to try and force you off it.
