    1500pts Cities of Death list

Me and my friends play mostly CoD, so heres a list that i wrote up
Keep in mind ill be up against marines and eldar

    Doctrines- Storm Troopers
    Iron Disciple
    Chameleon

    HQ-
    SO w/ power sword,
Command squad- mortar, vox, medic 86pts

    Mortar Support Squad 80pts

    Elites-
    10 Storm troopers w/ Infiltrate, 2 plasma guns 125pts

    10 Storm troopers w/ Infiltrate, 2 plasma guns 125pts

    Troops-

    1st platoon-
    hq- JO w/ power sword
command squad- vox, medic, Lascannon, Iron Discipline Chameleon 101pts

1st squad w/ Heavy Bolter, Plasma Gun, vox Iron Discipline Chameleon 100pts

2nd Squad w/ Heavy Bolter, Grenade Launcher, vox Iron Discipline Chameleon 100pts

3rd Squad w/ Grenade Launcher, vox Iron Discipline Chameleon 88pts

    2nd Platoon-
    hq- JO w/ power sword
command squad- vox, medic, Autocannon 91pts

1st squad w/ Heavy Bolter, Plasma Gun, vox Iron Discipline Chameleon 100pts

2nd Squad w/ Heavy Bolter, Grenade Launcher, vox Iron Discipline Chameleon 100pts

3rd Squad w/ Grenade Launcher, vox Iron Discipline Chameleon 88pts

    Heavy Support-

Leman Russ Demolisher w/ HB side sponsons, Hull lascannon, extra armor, rough terrain modification 185pts

    Basalisk w/ indirect fire 125pts

    1494pts
The storm troopers would infiltrate into a strategic building out of my deployment zone, 1 platoon would hold back and hold the objective in my zone while the other would move forward with the Demolisher to take objectives. The Storm troopers would move forward and try to claim middle objectives and take out light vehicles when the option prizes. Im hoping to put the enemy on the defensive so i can bring up the defense platoon. The Basalisk and mortars would sit in my deployment zone near a objective as would my HQ. The Basalisk would pound enemy defenders while the Mortar Squad would hit enemy attackers as they tried to cross the board, hopefully pinning them so that my attack platoon and storm troopers could "deal" with the threat.

    Tear it apart
If its good, tell me so i dont think its just not being payed attention too.

    Thanks

Never played CoD with the CoD rules so I might be the wrong person to comment on this list but I'll give it my .02.

You can only give Iron Discipline to your officers. You can't give it to your line squads. This is good though because that saves you some points.

Do you take the medics for fluff reasons? To me they seem like a waste in units that are not plasma heavy.

Other than that, I'm sure your cammo cloaks make it hard to kill your guard in a city fight. I'm surprised you don't have more template weapons. Maybe a hellhound to support the stormtroopers. Like I said though, I've never played CoD.

    Good Hunting!

Sweet. I imagine that hellhound will be one of the scariest things in the city. Normally I avoid the flamer with the tables I play on. They tend to be the typical 25% terrain setup. I imagine that your CoD tables have about 50% or more terrain so I can definitely see those flamethrower infantry squads giving your opponents a headache.

    Good Luck

HaHaHa lose those grenade launchers. Do your opponents flank a lot? A table with that much terrain, that makes me want to build a list around basilisks, flamers and hellhounds. I think I might do that.

If your table is covered in 70% difficult terrain have you considered light infantry since that allows all your troops infiltrate to allow you better use of your heavy weapons since they will be in place already and you get to roll 3d6 when rolling for movement.
