So, how does it look? All criticism welcome.
The upswing to playing IG is that if you play well and play smart, it's almost impossible to lose an objective-based game. Have you ever tried to take table quarters away from the Guard? You can't, there's too damn many of us. That's how you have to win, not through VPs or annihilation.
I don't know, with the advent of 5th Edition, I find cameleoline more useful; if say, gaunts are about to charge my guardsmen, I get a 5+ save if I go to ground right in the open, which is fairly useful. More things give you better cover saves, so paying an extra point for a 3+ cover save, in my mind, seems alright. Plus, we're going to be playing on smaller tables (5 by 4), so the optimum placement of such a large volume of troops, with good firing lanes and what not, has to be considered. Extra armour on Leman Russ? In all honesty, I don't really move my Russes a heck of a lot. I agree with you on putting it on the Chimera, but a moving Russ doesn't get to fire Ordanance anyways, which is one of the primary use for it imo. The inquisitor lord- no, I didn't just buy him for a heavy bolter platform. A BS5 rerollable psycannon is freakin awesome, and I don't have the FOC Elites slot to take a normal inquisitor, or an assassin for that matter (and the Vindicare, for me, has underperformed in almost every game I take him in). Being a lord ensures also increases his survivability, and the whole squad is only 115pts, which I don't find too bad for what you get. The psychic hood is a pretty good idea, and I will try and work it in. Also, I underestimated the need for better leadership; that will also be another thing I will try and work in. Thanks for the advice!
Wow.... how did I misread that? Lol thanks.
