actually looks like a pretty solid list. good mix of anti-infantry and anti-tank. The only thing I'm concerned about is what the tactical squad is going to do. It has a flamer, which suggests it's an assault unit, but the sgt. doesn't have a power weapon or anything special. I'd take digital weapons of the HQ and use the points to buy a power weapon for the sgt. and a heavy bolter or missile launcher for the squad. Then, split them in half and use the heavy weapon side for cover fire and the flamer and sgt. side as a counter assault unit.
i think you miscalculated yourself,
cause, a Tactical Squad costs 90 points and 16 points for each marine extra,
that already is 170 points,
so that's one point,
now to your list, (i will just do as if the points where correct so i'm giving some tips)
the master of the forge is a great model, super in shooting and it fits well with the iron hands fluff.
the tactical squad, in the new codex you get a heavy bolter, multi-melta or a missile launcher for free, so attach one if you have the model.
the scouts, i don't like scouts very much but when you like them...i'ts a players choice.
the bikes, always good for a decisive counter attack, especially with the multi-melta,
and can contest objectives to!
the next things i would buy to expand your army are: (considering that you want to play iron hands)
another Tactical Squad,
a Razorback with TL Heavy bolter or maybe even 2! (40 points! just love them now!)
a Devastator squad to bolster your fire power,
a Dreadnought (fits with Iron Hands fluff)
Assault terminators with thunder hammer and storm schield, (3+ invurnable save!)
these are some idea's,
hope this helps
hey thanks for the comments so ive revised my list (i had to drop the scouts)
so here it is
master of the forge 120pts
w conversion beamer
10 tactical marines 185pts
w flamer, missle launcher,
SGT w power weapon and pistol
dread nought 105pts
w multi-melta,close combat weapon,storm bolter
2 attack bikes 90pts
1 w multi-melta
is this still leagel

Yes im pretty sure that it legal, this is because they cant realistically expect you to get anything else apart from two troop choices and a HQ from 500 pts, plus 500 pts isnt a recomended game size in the new rule book, however using the old rules 500pts was the right size for a patrol battle which your only compulsory unit was a troop unit. so if your trying for something simmilar to that then i guess it would be. however in a standard game where you need a minimu of two troop choices then no.
