Hello, I'm new to this forum and I was wondering what your thoughts would be on my army list. I have been playing warhammer for almost 7 years now, and I have a guard, templar and wood elf army. The army list I'm trying out and having a little trouble with is my BT army list, I'm pretty sure I need some Rhinos maybe, not sure, well here it goes;
(*note my codex isn't in-front of me right now, cause I'm not home)
((I used this in a 1750 point touny with mates))
(((couple upgrades I haven't shown cause I can't remember them)))
Marshall: bolt pistol, power weapon, terminator honours, iron halo
Emperors Champion: Accept Challenge No Matter the Odds.
Chaplain : Jump Pack
Assualt Marines: 1 power fist, 2 plasma pistols, 7 bolt pistol cc wpns.
5x Assualt Terminators, 3 LC 2 TH ( I eiher use in LRC or DS)
2x Crusader squads: 8 initiates /w cc wpns, 1 meltagun, 1 power fist, crusdaer seals.
2x Crusader squads: 5 bolters, 1 plasma cannon
Land Raider Crusader
Welcome to LO!!
Knowing absolutely nothing about BTs, the problem I see is with such small squads of crusaders and your characters on foot, there isn't much chance of them making it to the enemy in one piece. I suggest either some rhinos, drop pods or neophytes to beef up the squad size.
Now I'll step drown and let someone who knows what they're talking about reply
Kabal of the Twilight Blade - Host of Tecpatl - Salamanders 3rd
Welcome to LO. First off, this list looks really small, much too small for 1750 unless I'm doing some math wrong in my head (short maybe 200-300 points it looks like).
For the Marshal, drop the BP and PWeapon and give him Twin Lightning Claws and Frag Grenades. They are superior to Power Weapons.
The Chappy really isn't that necessary anymore for BT in my opinion. With Accept Any Challenge giving prefered enemy to all initiates in the army (which now gives you reroll's to hit) a Chappy is a bit redundent except for neophytes.
Drop a Initiate from each of the small shooty Crusader Squads. Replace him with a Neophyte with a shotgun. Saves you a few points.
The other Crusader Squads need to be fleshed out a bit. Bump each up to about 15-20 men. Stick the Marshal in one and the Emperor's Champion in the other. Give them frags, and drop the crusader seals from the squads, as the HQs have them already.
I'd use 4 LC Termies and 2 TH/SS ones personally. Give them Furious Charge. Stick them in the LRC, DO NOT DEEP STRIKE THEM! They cannot charge when the DS and will almost always have an insane amount of firepower pumped into them if they land anywhere near an enemy unit. In the LRC they are nice and safe and can charge out with the Frag Launchers firing away.

Cheers man, sounds Good
I did use my Marshall in one squad and the EC in the other
I was thinking maybe some Rhino support for the Crusader squads???
I only tried DS the Assault termies once...because it failed, I will never try that again lol -.-;;
I did have a thought, I will be expanding my army and I was wondering if you'd have any advice on things to get???
I was thinking 7 A.Termies 5LC 2TH, with marshall in a LRC for an all out assualt, with a couple more shooting back up squads. Maybe some Rhinos to.
PS: If you have your own army list for BT I'd be interested in having a look
