Raven Guard 1500/Tyranids 1500/Necrons 1500
For One, For All, For The Emperor!
you should post this in the army list section
Are blood angels different to normal marines as u have 2 5 man squads with item upgrades, for marines u can get a 10 man squad but 2 weapon upgrades and 1 serg upgrade but u have what appears to be 2 sergs.
From memory the blood angels have that rule where they can go mad and charge forward, wouldnt that make assualt weapons favourable to the heavy weapons as u dont wanna leave ur plans to the whims of luck (i play fantasy Orcs and animosity is a killer tactically)
As for Tau i found if u can isolate the Crisis Suits ur onto a winner but if they are good at using them to drag u round the battle field u will get hurt badly, especially with ur seeming lack of transports, yeah transports wont last long but the wrecks block LoS so the tank dies but ur 12" forward and in cover.
The alternative is to take the offensive urself and ignore the Crisis suits and go for his main lines. Id guess he will have around 7 Crisis suits 3 broadsides and 2 hammer heads and about 30 Tau fellas. if u get into combat ur onto a winner then force his crisis suits to come to you. then with ur baal u can create a kill zone where he cant jump out of and then its hammer time. Also depends if ur using a mission as most tau in pitch battles have a fire base they work from where as if he is moving around u need to isolate units and take em down. The key is avoiding losses while closing with him, head long charges are not the best idea so use cover and patience and then once ur in again its double hammer time.
Another thing is Ethereals. If u can spank it do so as he might run off the board, as for kroot, they are nasty in big numbers so thin em out with pistol fire then charge in to avoid his shooting phase.
So in summary get close to him asap and try to keep the initative as if u let him call the shots ur gonna die quick smart.
The only ever non-draw I've had against my friend who plays tau (we always play for victory points) was when I rolled blood angels.
Dante leading an honour guard with powerfists, lemartes leading a death company with jump packs and an assault squad with powerfist on the sergeant.
Completely smashed, 1300vps to 600
Though admittedly it might be a bit cheesy to take the kind of list against an army that is so limp-wristed in the assault department.
moskove humperdick - with the blood angels you can have one special weapom with 5 men and 2 with a 10 man. i have chosen 2 5 men for the extra deathcompany model and also with blood angels you can only have a 5 or 10 man unit not 6,7,8 or 9 like the mormal marine. The advantage i have as blood angels is that i can have 1 special weapon with a 5 man squad where as normal marines must take 10 marines to get a special weapon.

I'd build on what LLPaulJ said, and chuck that extra squad of assault marines you have into your lineup. As far as being cheesy goes...it depends on the player. I for one couldn't care, if you're playing to win, build your list to exploit your opponents weaknesses as much as possible. For Tau, this is CC.
nice list i like alot, my tau played a list extreemly simmilar to this and managed to scrape a draw once and loose the other game, i love this list it lookis like it could be really interesting to play.
