    500 pt cheesy list

    My friend has a really cheesy daemon list so i am going to make a 500 pt guard to counter it... what do you think?

    grenadiers

    HQ:
    command platoon:
    jr officer w/ power weapon, plasma pistol, carapace Armour, honorifica imperialis.

    TROOP:
    storm troopers - 10
    1 vet
    4 storm troopers

    2 leman russ's w/ hull bolter. side bolters

    not a good list at all, your effective units areyour tanks, without them you are stranded.

    drop the plasma and carapace and get some weapons into your infantry ie. grenade launchers at this level

    I think storm troopers are too expensive and not in large enough units to be useful. Use standard infantry and heavy weapons against deamons.

    Also, I would drop all equipment from your Junior Officer. He's not going to be effective on his own, and deamons use mostly invul saves, not armor saves (IIRC).
